Goose Feast at Schützenhaus

We invite you for the 24th time to the "Great Goose Feast at Schützenhaus".

Traditional Goose Feast at Schützenhaus

It has been a very long tradition at Schützenhaus Pulsnitz that we open our goose season annually on St. Martin’s Day. Until after the Christmas holidays, you can enjoy crispy goose legs and tender, juicy goose breasts, our absolute bestsellers, to your heart’s content. We also offer braised goose liver, our homemade goose rillette, and our goose broth “Auguste”. Of course, upon request, we will freshly prepare your very own goose on the day of your arrival and carve it for you at the table. We serve it with braised red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, kale, potatoes – and, of course, our Saxon dumplings, half and half; … and ours are still homemade!! … so don’t forget in 2026 either: “Goose Feast is at Schützenhaus”

Tip: Pulsnitz Gingerbread World of Experience…

Pulsnitz is the world capital of the famous Pulsnitz gingerbread and home to one of Germany’s smallest craft guilds. The craft only exists in Germany in our Pulsnitz. Taste and try your way through 8 gingerbread bakeries and a gingerbread factory – learn everything about the craft at the Pulsnitz Gingerbread Museum. If you have an appetite for something hearty afterward, we look forward to your visit to our Schützenhaus Pulsnitz.
